Meet the Artist

Hello! My name is Delia Paoletti (they/them) and I am a queer printmaking artist and farmer from Northern CA currently based in Portland, OR. I design, carve, and print everything in my home in Portland, and I usually enjoy being outside while I am at various points in the process, weather permitting! I live with my partner, Sarah, and the princes of our house, our cats Ollie & Po!

My work is largely based on the values I hold within the realm of agriculture, community, queerness, ecology, and environmentalism. I work daily on a four acre, organic vegetable production farm south of Portland, and base a majority of my work on the friends and critters I spend my days learning and growing with in the fields. Having focused a significant amount of my undergraduate degree studying ecofeminism, I feel a deep sense of value in the work of land stewardship, community building/mutual aid, agro-ecologies, and connecting people to their food sources in a sustainable, future oriented way.

I share this to give a context to the work I am selling! I am hoping to use art as a way to sustain the seasonality of agricultural work, and get me through the winters as a form of income. Because of this, you can expect a faster turn around on orders placed November-March, and a slower turn around between April-October. I am also thrilled to see my work worn out in the world, so please email me pictures of you in your apparel or pictures of prints hung up, it always makes me happy!

A note about the photography on this page: All photos were taken by my friend Kris Fish, who is a vivid, brilliant, talented artist in Northern California. Thank you Kris!
